International Women’s Day Film, Feast and Fancy Dress!

8 March @ 12:30 pm - 10:00 pm GMT

£2 – £25

To celebrate International Women’s Day on Sunday 8 March, LesFlicks is putting on a special film club – with a difference. We’re turning our film club into a major event. For one day only, watch a film, enjoy a feast and dance the evening away in fancy dress!

We invite you to come as your favourite female film character or actor. There will be prizes for the best 3 costumes on the night!

Join our friendly group of lesbian & bisexual women for our monthly film and lunch club in various locations across the UK. Every time a lesbian film shows in a cinema and seats remain empty this reinforces the current myth that there is no audience for lesbian films as seat sales get reported back to the distributor. This makes it harder for future films to get distribution. We are working hard to disprove this by promoting lesbian cinema screenings when we find them and also providing hosted socials to break down some of the barriers that are leading to these empty seats. #WeAreAnAudience
