🎞️The Lesflicks Film Club is a hosted event where women come together to watch a lesbian film in a cinema. We pop up and go to whichever cinema is showing the film. Depending on the film time we always have a pre or post-film social.
🎞️FILM: Morocco (1930)
🍿 Synopsis: Dietrich’s iconic appearance on stage singing ‘When Love Dies’ in tuxedo and top-hat alone would make this a Hollywood debut to remember. But as cabaret singer Amy Jolly, falling recklessly in love with Gary Cooper’s legionnaire in this torrid romance, Dietrich proved herself capable of conveying great passion as well as cool eroticism – a performance that earned her only Oscar® nomination.
