LesFlicks Film Club Manchester
Join our friendly group of lesbian & bisexual women for our monthly film and lunch club in various locations across the UK.
Every time a lesbian film shows in a cinema and seats remain empty this reinforces the current myth that there is no audience for lesbian films as seat sales get reported back to the distributor. This makes it harder for future films to get distribution. We are working hard to disprove this by promoting lesbian cinema screenings when we find them and also providing hosted socials to break down some of the barriers that are leading to these empty seats. #WeAreAnAudience
The LesFlicks film club will meet at Tribeca in Manchester on the third Sunday to see an afternoon film, followed by a drinks and food onsite to give a chance to socialise and discuss the film.
In addition there will be occasional ad hoc films when there are any local cinemas that programme a lesbian film. To ensure you hear about all our screenings, and to be able to input into what films we show, we encourage you to join the LesFlicks family.

Socialite Vita Sackville-West (Gemma Arterton) and literary icon Virginia Woolf (Elizabeth Debicki) run in different circles in 1920s London. Despite the odds, the magnetic Vita and the beguiling Virginia forge an unconventional affair, set against the backdrop of their own strikingly contemporary marriages; which inspired one of Woolf’s most iconic novels, Orlando.
