Kristen Jaymes Stewart rose to stardom at an early age. Born in Los Angeles, California, Stewart landed her first role, a small part in the 1999 Disney Channel movie The Thirteenth Year. 2002 marked her big break when she was cast as the lead in Panic Room, sharing the screen with Jodie Foster, Forest Whitaker, and Jared Leto. The rest has been history — Kristen Stewart has gone from being a child idol, to a teenage idol, to an acclaimed American actress earning multiple nominations and accolades, starting with a Young Artist Award nomination in the category of Best Leading Actress in a Feature Film for her solid performance in Panic Room as Sarah Altman — the tomboy and diabetic daughter of a divorced mother.

Bella Swan has been Stewart’s most popular character to date — The Twilight Saga is based on the hit book series Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. In 2008, the first Twilight installment was released, followed by New Moon (2009), Eclipse (2010), Breaking Dawn: Part 1 (2011), and Breaking Dawn: Part 2 (2012).
