COVID-19 has caused chaos in the film industry. Cinemas in the UK are slowly re-opening, but without the new releases as we await the re-start of the US cinemas which lead the release of new films. In the interim we have the choice of re-runs.

However, as lesbian film historically doesn’t get a huge cinema screening, the impact of reduced cinema capacity is not resulting in the pushing back of these films. So there are a number of great lesbian films coming through over the next 12 months.

Here we run through them to help you get all excited!

Take Positive Action! Lesbian film gets less promotion, and is often not distributed at all as it is believed there is no paying audience. We know that is wrong! You can help dispel this myth, and also help support these great titles by sharing them on your social media. Use the hashtag #AmplifyLesbianFilm and don’t forget to tag us for an additional signal boost!
