Join us for an evening revelling in all things BOOKISH and QUEER!
If you are in any way shy, quiet, awkward, nerdy or introverted then Queer Book Club Leeds and Leeds Queer Film Festival have the perfect night planned for you.

6.30pm: Doors open
7pm: A panel conversation about queer books followed by a fun queer book quiz
9pm: a screening of the brilliant and funny 2018 film, Can You Ever Forgive Me? – featuring queer literary fraudsters!

There will also be various zine stalls and Leeds’ new pop-up queer bookshop The Bookish Type

Oh, and it wouldn’t be a LQFF event without samosas and vegan cakes ??

FREE entry but donations welcome – there will also be a raffle to raise funds to cover the cost of making the event D/deaf accessible.

Cash or card accepted for snacks, stalls, raffle, donations (bar is card only, sorry)

Venue is wheelchair accessible and all toilets are for all genders. Alternative version of the quiz (print out) will be available. The film has English subtitles.
Panel discussion – we are really sorry but we have been unable to find a BSL interpreter who is available for this event. However, we do have someone who signs who isn’t able to interpret from the stage, but will be able to assist individuals who require communication support. If this applies to you please let an organiser know when you arrive and we an seat you with the signer.
